Here you can find out more info about my book Sandi's comfort food recipes. It's a collection of my favorite comfort food recipes. It contains pasta recipes, chicken recipes and some cake recipes.

I've always loved cooking. My passion for cooking comes from watching my grandmother and mother cook. They were born and raised in Haiti, but immigrated to Canada in the mid 70's.  

When they came to this country, they brought with them delicious recipes that were passed down to them from generation to generation and eventually to me.  

I was born and raised in Canada and grew up in Montreal. The city is pretty diverse ethnically. Growing up, I had the chance to learn about different cultures. I also had friends from different ethnic backgrounds. Some of them taught me how to cook their favourite food from their country. I added some of their recipes in my cookbook.
